It takes years of practical experience to develop a knowledge base that will allow you to be proficient in selecting a potentially profitable fixer upper project. You can’t just go buy a property fix it up and hope for the best. Fortunately there are relatively inexpensive short cuts that will allow you to leap frog ahead and gain the knowledge you need to become confident and profitable on your first project.

As far as i know there is no one “resource” that contains all the information needed in pursuing real estate fixer upper profits. If there were, it would be worth many thousands of dollars. I have purchased many books and reports over the years and have a large library of information…some are loaded with good information and others may have only a few pearls of knowledge that I can use. If I get one useful bit of information from a publication, I consider the purchase price money well spent.

Knowledge is a precious thing and you really can’t put a price tag on it. Here are a few reports to get you started…just remember there is no one catchall real estate buying and selling source, so don’t expect a miracle of knowledge for the price of a couple of hamburgers.

The meat of any real estate deal is the contract and since many good fixer upper real estate deals usually involve a motivated seller trying to sell a house himself with out an agent…so, you need to be up to speed on various types of contracts.
